Expedite Solutions has developed many programs to allow drivers that work for the company to grow. After successfully completing their first year of training, many drivers elect to take on new challenges like some of the ones listed below. These programs are strictly voluntary and many drivers prefer to just continue driving in the same manner they have for the last year. Either way our senior drivers have earned the respect of their peers and our staff.
Certified Mentors
This program asks senior teams to be available to new teams for coaching and support. By drawing on their own recent experience Certified Mentors help new trainees adjust to this new career. As a Certified Mentor, Drivers who have successfully completed all 3 Phases of our training curriculum
can elect to stay with Expedite Solutions as contract drivers. These drivers are also eligible to become
Certified Mentor’s. This program prepares current teams to
recruit new teams and coach existing teams. As a Certified
Mentors, the team will earn additional compensation as well as
other benefits.
Lease Purchase
The intent of the Lease Purchase Program is to provide an advancement
opportunity for teams that have completed 1 year of service with
Expedite Solutions. This lease purchase program will continue your
development as a premier owner operator. Teams can earn more
per week, pay off their truck and save for the future by taking responsibility
for all of their business functions.
Expedite Solutions will still remain active in your business giving
you the support you need to increase your chances of success. This
support can be seen in many different ways; discounted maintenance
services, emergency road services, operator facilities, business
analysis, industry trends, carrier negotiations or just a friendly
voice on the end of the phone. These are just a few of the resources
Expedite Solutions will provide its lease purchase operators that
no dealership in the country can provide.
Expedite Solutions has spent considerable time identifying the
optimal piece of equipment for this program. Equipment in our lease
purchase fleet generally are 2001 or newer tractors converted to
straight trucks. Most often they are equipped with a 22ft van body,
Eaton Fuller Auto Shift transmission, fridge, microwave, and toolbox.
Mileage is usually around 500K. These are not new trucks and are
purchased under this program with only the original factory warranty.
The logic behind this type of equipment is to keep payments low enough
that an operator can earn more money each week AND operate a piece
of equipment that can reasonably be expected to have no major failures
during the term of the lease.
If an operator needs to
leave the program and can patiently work out notice. Expedite Solutions
will actively remarket the equipment to another operator or potentially
buy the truck for its contract driver fleet. This will relieve the
operator of future payments and allow them to terminate the lease
without the burden of trying to sell this specialized truck. Because
Expedite Solutions is continuing to grow both its contractor and
lease purchase fleets this growth enhances the chances a new operator
would be available to assume the payments if necessary. This is another
advantage over purchasing a truck from a dealer.
Direct Buy
Expedite Solutions realizes from time to time we may have
drivers that want to experience the expedite market completely on
their own. Expedite
Solutions has partnered with HotShotTrucks.com to offer equipment
that has proper specifications. Having many years of testing
equipment, Expedite Solutions and HotShotTrucks.com knows what a
team needs to be comfortable and a payment they need to be successful. HotShotTrucks.com
will offer its dealership services to current Expedite Solutions
drivers at a discounted rate.
